Charles Vincent

Charles John Vincent was an English organist, composer, editor, music publisher, educator, and examiner. A former chorister at Durham Cathedral, he studied at the Leipzig Conservatory and held organist posts at Monkwearmouth, Tavistock, Kelly College, and Christ Church, Hampstead. He later worked as an examiner for Trinity College London, edited church-music publications, and wrote vocal, organ, piano, chamber, orchestral, and instructional works.
